Showing links in front page preview posts

I have the front page set to show latest posts but the link I have in one of them isn’t clickable until you click on read more.

I’ve set up a child theme (which was a lot easier than I thought it would be) so I could make changes.

I need to know if there’s a code on a template page that I need to change or if it’s a function I have no clue.
