Hi,

I have a problem with showing tagged pictures with imagebrowser effect. If I activate a tag cloud widget with Picture tag taxonomy, then show from that widget pictures with some tag and click on some of the tagged pictures, it redirects me to home page instead of the imagebrowser with that image.

For example here
https://www.4cloud.cz/ngg_tag/autumn/
I click on the first image and the URL changes to
https://www.4cloud.cz/nggallery/image/autumn-in-our-garden/
but it should change to
https://www.4cloud.cz/ngg_tag/autumn/nggallery/image/autumn-in-our-garden/

My permalinks structure is set to Month and name. I use NGG 2.0.40, but the problem is the same in 2.0.63.

The problem can be replicated this way: install WordPress, change permalinks structure to Month and name, install NGG, change in Gallery Settings in NGG Basic Thumbnails option Use imagebrowser effect to Yes, add some pictures with tags, add tag cloud widget, show tagged pictures from tag cloud – in this point everything is working just fine. But as soon as I update the permalinks structure, the problem occurs.

Any ideas how to fix this?

@marketa.f – I’m not so sure I understand what the issue(s) are … there is no NextGEN Gallery TagCloud widget, which Tag Cloud widget are you referring to?

Are you using the current version of NextGEN Gallery (2.0.63) or have you rolled back to version 2.0.40? We only recommend keeping current and focus our support on those installations.

What changes are you making with “update the permalinks structure”; and, are you clearing the image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous when you do change the Permalinks structure?

I’m referring to WordPress Tag Cloud widget here https://codex.www.ads-software.com/images/b/ba/designwidget.png .

I updated to 2.0.63 and the problem is still there.

With “update the permalinks structure” I mean in Settings > Permalinks just click Save Changes. I am clearing the image cache, but it didn’t solve the issue.

The problem is not that much in the Tag Cloud, but in showing NextGEN pictures through URL https://www.somewebsite.com/ngg_tag/tagname/ with imagebrowser effect turned on.
When I click on some thumbnail I suppose it should show the picture in imagebrowser which means the URL should change to https://www.somewebsite.com/ngg_tag/tagname/nggallery/image/some-image/, but it changes to https://www.somewebsite.com/nggallery/image/some-image/ without the ngg_tag/tagname/.

I’m not sure I described the issue better.. but this topic https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-nextgen-gallery-possible-tagsimagebrowser-bug?replies=3 is describing the same problem, maybe there it is better explained.
