• I have teams that play each other.
ie. team 1 vs team 2

however, when I show the schedule for team 1 it works fine, but the game doesn’t show up for team 2 as it’s not set to that schedule,…they are the opponent.

Do I have to enter the game twice?? one in each schedule?

Is there any way to show the games whether they are the schedule or opponent?

    Hi Debbie,
Thanks for posting here. Correct. Schedules & Scoreboards is designed for ONE team (or school or club). Therefore it only displats that team’s schedules and opponents. Opponents schedules belong on their sites. At keast thats how S&S is designed. If you want to show hoth teams schedules, then use the League Manager plugin. Exampkes are availabke on the MSTW Dev site.

    Hi Mark,
I think I asked this before, but can’t find a response.
Can I use the schedules plugin as well as the league plugin at the same time?
I’ve put an enormous amount of work into the schedules plugin, and am using multiple teams. I realize now that wasn’t intended use, but it is working very well, except for the standings.

I’d like to display the standings, but is limited to a per team as you’ve explained above.

Can I use the league manager to keep track of the standings for each level of teams I’ve setup?
Do I have to set them up again?

As usual, thanks for your help. Your support is outstanding.

The MSTW development and test site is running both plugins. You shouldn’t have a problem. Note that the Teams databases are independent, but you can export the teams DB from S&S to a CSV file, and import them into League Manager.

    Perfect. Thanks Mark.

I can’t see how to export

    Oh, I see, it’s a different plugin?

I’ve added the leagues and imported the teams.

I’m trying to show the standings.

I’ve entered in the games for the teams in the league with the results.
However, they are not coming into the standings table shortcode.

I see that there is an update standings. Do they really need to be manually entered into that to show the standings?
Isn’t that the point of adding the games and the results to avoid having to manually track them?

    Am I missing a step?

Yes, I think you are. In this version, the game results are not linked with the team records. The team records must be entered separately on the Update Records admin screen. Several people have expected this behavior, and I hear you, but I’m not sure they are ever going to be linked together for a couple of good reasons.
