Showing the date/time for European customers

Hey B!

It’s supposed to be picking up your WordPress install’s date/time settings, but we may have a bug in there.

We may need to change https://github.com/mattbanks/woocommerce-local-pickup-time/blob/master/public/class-local-pickup-time.php#L323 from get_option('time_format') to get_option('date_format').

I’m busy with projects for work for a bit, but if you want to try that locally and see if you works, you could put in a pull request on Github and I could get that merged and deployed.

@preeparee I’m working on version 1.3.2 and when it releases it should begin using your WordPress date & time format settings.

@preeparee can you confirm that the 1.3.2 release fixes this for you now?

@preeparee I think this still may have been an issue for you up through version 1.3.5. Version 1.3.6 was just released which should have the localized Date/Time formatting as expected. In regards to your question about a Dutch translation it would be awesome if you’d be willing to sign up to translate the plugin to Dutch which can be done here: https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/woocommerce-local-pickup-time-select

I’ve done all the updates, but still it’s showing the dates in English. ??

I was wondering if this would have something to do with the fact that I can’t get the site language in Dutch? It’s now in English (US), but for some reason I can’t change it into Dutch. Even when I now for sure that the .mo en .po files are there.

Maybe that is the problem? But how to fix that??

@preeparee there are no translations built for the plugin in general for Dutch, however I just realized that when I was outputting the Date in the dropdown I was only using the WordPress Date format setting and not also the WordPress site Locale. I just published version 1.3.7 of the plugin and so long as your WordPress site language is set to Dutch the Date for the pickup date/time should reflect Dutch as it should. For all other plugin translation items a Dutch translation would need to be submitted for th plugin at https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/woocommerce-local-pickup-time-select
