Showing the number of posts assigned under each tag

Is it possible to display the number of posts (as in the numerical amount: 1 Post, 2 Posts, 3 Posts…) that are assigned under each tag? I think it has to be done through template tags but not sure which one.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
