    Hello there,

Currently there is no such shortcode attribute available to show total share count.
But we will try to include in the upcoming plugin updates.

    Thanks

Thanks and please let me know.

I think there is added importance to this, because Twitter has removed individual share count. It looks bad to have counters for everything else besides Twitter (implies nobody has retweeted the post).

I think the best alternative would be to have a total count and then no count for each button.

    Thanks again.

I hope all is well. To revisit this, I see the documentation now has total counter in shortcode if you use apss_share i.e. [apss_share networks=’facebook, twitter, pinterest’ share_text=’Share it’ counter=’1′ total_counter=’1′]

However, I use apss_count because I have my own icons. Is there are a total counter shortcode now for apss_count or is there anything I can do to get this functionality?

    Thanks.

    Hello there,

    Thanks for writing in.

There is not a total counter shortcode for apss_count in the plugin.

    Thank you.

    Hello @harvoolio

We have released an update of a plugin with your feature request. Please update the plugin and please see the “How to use” tab for shortcode use.

    Thanks

Thanks. Is it backwards compatible? Meaning if I globally remove individual share counts will it show the correct total share counts for past posts?

    Thanks.

    Hello there,

As we are pulling the share counts from the APIs provided by social network so it shouldn’t affect the share counts. Please check and let us know.

    Thanks
