Showing Twitter URL for deleted user, how to change?

    Hi,

    Currently my site (via Yoast) is showing this tag:

    <meta name=”twitter:site” content=”@twitterAccountOfOldUser” />

    Despite the user associated with that Twitter account being deleted and no longer a part of the website.

    How do I change this? It seems to be stuck on the old user’s details.

    Thank you for reaching out!

    The Twitter information you see there is coming from the Social settings of our plugin and not from a user account on your site. Please go to SEO → Social → Accounts (first tab) and edit the Twitter username field.

    Hi Jeroen, thanks for the reply!

    That helped me get to the answer. After deleting, that section you refer to was showing blank (nothing), in place of where a name was before.

    So need to got to “Search Appearance”, and scroll down to Personal Info > Name – and then select a new person.

    After that, all worked!
