Shows up But Can’t Search

    I was able to configure the plgin. In Preview I saw the search option but it shows only the option to search by address, and when I entered my Rep’s name nothing came up–nothing. I see no option to provide search options by name. The plugin is visible but the search function doesn’t work.

    The plugin does not have a function to search by name.

    How CongressLookup plugin works is it uses Google Map API to get the longitude and latitude of the entered address and then uses these coordinates with the Sunlight Labs Congress API to get the congresspeople for that location.

    I know about the Sunlight Foundation API and I have one. So that is not my issue.

    You said “when I entered my Rep’s name nothing came up–nothing”. What was telling you is that the plugin does not search by name. You can only search by location.

    If I am still not understanding, please explain in more detail about the problem you are encountering and post the URL of the page on your site where the shortcode is located.
