What in the world is going on? The 2 most recent plug-in update emails have completely NOT helped or made any improvements on my site being available and online! What is happening with these fatal error messages? This is unacceptable to go on this long. Almost 24 hours of an offline site!

  • Have you deactivated the plugin and then reactivated it?

Nope, haven’t tried that yet. I was crossing my fingers that these updates that happened today with the plug-ins will fix it. I can try this solution. Thank you.

Tried that with deactivating the Elementor and the Elementor Header & Footer Plug ins…both reactivated and no luck. Same response back with the multiple fatal errors. Thanks for your help. I’ll have to get back to this in a few hours.

    Hi,

as you pointed out, the issue is already known and well discussed here, maybe it helps if you take a look at this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/trouble-with-update-2/

Otherwise, try to restore a previous backup from before 23rd March.

Turned off the automatic updates for sure. Still having the same codes come up. The sound of stuff disappearing and deleting does not sound great, so I will ask my IT people if turning or rolling back to the previous version is the only thing to do. Also, how are we supposed to know if these bugs actually get fixed in the updates to come? I sure hope Elementor fixes this for the future.

First I want to apologize for this experience with our latest release

I am happy to inform you that we have released version 3.6.1 for Elementor Core which contains a fix for the incompatibility issues reported today.
Please try updating this version and inform me if the change helps.

If this doesn’t resolve the issue please follow this workaround:
Just for the time being, it will be a good idea to deactivate all plugins (except Elementor and Elementor Pro), and then reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.
Once the plugin is found, inform us which plugin is incompatible so we can contact the developers. Keep this plugin deactivated for the time being.
Switch your website’s theme to Elementor’s Hello theme. If this solves the problem, keep your website on this theme for now, until this issue will be solved.
Alternatively, you can roll back your Elementor (Core) version from 3.6 to a previous one, which is still compatible with these plugins, such as 3.5.6. You can download a stable version from this link.
Reach out to your third-party plugin support to notify them of the importance of the issue.
