Shutting down the comment spammers

  • I’ve had some success in getting organisations to secure their open proxies in the last few days after receiving some comment spam about, you guessed it, p*ker. I’ve written about what I did in my blog, if it helps anyone here. That’s four less open proxies for the spammer to use.

    By the way, the link to your blog in your profile is incorrect. Links should be:

    https://yoursite.com
    rather than
    www.yoursite.com

    Cannot see a way to edit the profile. Reading the forums, it seems that’s on the to-do list…. anyway my blog is here. Thanks for the tip. I’ll amend it when I can.
