Hello, I’m just configuring the plugin and it’s great! Thank you!!!
I only have one problem: the plugin connects to Cookiedatabase.org and syncs facebook cookies, but doesn’t sync Google. How odd!

I have tried yesterday and today and nothing, the same result. It doesn’t work on my local test server or the online production server.

But how can it be that facebook does synchronize them and google cookies don’t? I’m talking about the typical _ga, _gid, _gat, _gcl_au, etc.

    Thank you!!!

    Hi @loiscr,

We had a firewall issue at least today on cookiedatabase.org.

Could you try again, if it doesn’t work, could you post your URL so I can have a look?

    regards Aert

Hello, this can only be seen within the admin backend, so I don’t know how I can pass you the url.

I have uninstalled and installed the plugin several times and every time I did it, it synchronized some different cookies and not others. But once installed, no matter how much you press the synchronize button again, it always synchronizes the same cookies that chance has wanted you to touch on this installation occasion.

Now it has synchronized many from google and facebook but it does not synchronize cookies as basic as PHPSESSID or Complianz’s own.

    Any ideas?
    Thank you!!!

Can you try to clear all cookies (on the page where the cookie scan is), then do a new scan, then a new sync? This often helps when there are differences between cookies.

I did that. I removed all cookies and tried in other devices.

In different devecices detecta different cookies, but the Sync never is syncing all cookies.

    Thanks!!

    Hi @loiscr,

We’ve recently made a change which might be related to the behavior you describe.

Could you try installing the attached version of the plugin from the WeTransfer link below, to check if that resolves the issue on your end?

I’m very curious to hear about your findings with this version, let us know!

    Kind regards,

    Hello!!

Thanks for your attention, first of all.

I have tried to install the plugin and I have not been able to (I have tried to install it on the local machine, but I do not think that this influences).

I have tried to add the plugin directly from the WordPress installation panel and when uploading the zip file it tells me that it cannot be installed, that the link has expired. I don’t understand.

I have unzipped the zip and placed the folder directly in the plugins folder and it does not work, it does not detect it as a plugin.

The zip contains two folders, one that is “__MACOSX” and one that is “complianz-gdpr”. I don’t understand why this happens.

I have also tried putting only the complianz-gdpr folder that is inside the zip file and in that case, if it detects that there is a plugin, but when activating it it gives me a lot of errors and it is deactivated and wordpress deletes it only from the plugins folder .

I have also tried to zip only the internal “complianz-gdpr ” folder and upload it as a plugin through the administration panel and the same thing happens, it installs it but when activating it, an error occurs.

Are you sure this file is correct?

Thank you so much for everything.

Well, during these 2 or 3 days, I have pressed the synchronize button from time to time and little by little it has been synchronizing more cookies each time.

Today it has synchronized many more, and only a few are missing, so I guess it will be some connection difficulty but not an error in the plugin itself.

I already have almost all of them synchronized, so I consider the issue resolved.

THE PLUGIN IS GREAT, only a small detail is missing that is helping me in another thread of the forum and I think it will be solved soon.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!
