side bar issues & layout issues *n00b Q*
-
hi, so i’ll try to keep this short and describe it to the best of my capabilities.. but there are a few issues i’m having with the content (image thumbnails) of my articles.. and the positioning of the sidebar (sidebar is on the right)
so, basically i believe that i’m having issues with the:
#content {
float: left;
margin-right: 20px;
width: 400px;
}
#contentwrap {
width: 450px;for some reason, WP does not want to allow the sidebar to stay on the right. it automatically places itself at the bottom of my page no matter what these parameters are setup to be.. i had tinkered with them before, and had no issues, but i’ve for some reason found myself in a rut, and the side bar keeps showing up at the very bottom of my page.
ALSO, in my article composer, i’ve placed thumbnailed photos in an article, side by side, yet when i publish the article, the photos appear thumbnailed vertically all the way down the page.. it looks pretty freakin’ silly to have all this blank space on my page.. i’m genuinely clueless as to what i’ve done wrong, since in my article layout the photos still appear to be structured on a left to right basis..
i can give the url to anyone that would like to take a look..
so long story short..
the side bar likes to stay at the bottom of my page..
and the images in my article always by default align themselves vertically when i publish.hrmm, anyone have any advice to give?
thanks in advance..
zac
