• I added a text widget to my right sidebar and when I went back to add a pic to the sidebar, the side bars you drag the widgets to were gone, and only about 6 available widgets were showing. I logged off, and back on; I changed themes, and I shut down my computer and signed back into WP when the computer restarted. Still, I can see only 6 widgets and no sidebars to drag the widgets to. Any suggestions?

    I am using 2.9.2
I tried to do this in both FireFox and Internet Explorer (both the most recent versions). Still, I cannot see all the widgets nor the sidebars.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    increasing your available memory?

Thanks, your first suggestion did it. It was the Google Analyticator plug-in that was causing the problems.
