sidebar and content of identical height

  • Hello,

    I can see on the forum that this is not the first time anybody has asked this – however I could not find a solution that fits my site, so here goes.

    My site: https://www.finmand.dk/almastofa.
    My sidebare needs to be the same height as the #maincontent.
    I have read about faux columns, but since I have a background image in my sidebar, the solutions does not seem to fit.
    I have tried different versions of height, and tried putting a div around the sidebar – nothing works.

    So. Have anybody managed to fix this. Could anybody give my a hint for at solution.
