Sidebar appearing when supposedly turned off.

I’m using Bento 2.5.
I’m trying to do a links page, because I don’t want to use Linktr.ee or other similar sites, but have the control be mine. I’ve set the page up and gone to change the page to full width, but that doesn’t stop it.
I then went and created a full-width php, which doesn’t show the footer or sidebar. The footer doesn’t appear, but despite completely removing the PHP call for the sidebar, it still appears.
If I go in and change the sidebar setting to “left sidebar” from “full width”, it still shows up on the right side of the page! I’ve cleared caching, disabled it, and cleared the browser cache.
Something’s kind of wrong here and I could use some help, other than “change to a different theme”.
