Sidebar breaks without widget title

If I do not add a title to a sidebar widget, the sidebar breaks, with the <div class="side-contents"> tag disappearing. When I then try to edit the sidebar through the WordPress control panel, all of the widgets and content from the entire sidebar disappear. This is a very buggy theme and should probably be avoided until the kinks are worked out.
