Sidebar code

  • Hello, I installed poll mode, after creating a new one, they gave me a code, I want to add it in my sidebar, I opened sidebar.php but I can’t add it, in wich tags I need to put code? Code is: [merlic_poll id=”29″]

  • Try this:
    – Put that code into a post
    – Preview the post, so you can see the poll.
    – Go to “view source” in your browser and find the HTML output of the [merlic_poll id=”29″] shortcode.
    – Copy the HTML into a text widget.

    If you don’t have decent HTML skills, that might be a bit difficult. You might need to consider a different poll plugin that supports sidebars natively. I recommend PollDaddy or a PollDaddy-based plugin.
