Sidebar complete mess

After updating to the newest version of WordPress for my portfolio site, I noticed that the sidebar area is a complete mess by running over other areas of the page, messing up the links, etc. It seems as if there are two <span> tags creating the space but I’m not exactly sure if they’re even the issue.
