Sidebar css help to reduce line height only for 2nd line of one post

The line height for my sidebar is set to like 18px. That height is fine but I don’t want the second or third line of one post name to be spaced the same. I would like to reduce the leading just for the lines in the name. Does that make sense?

I don’t think I’m pointing to the right selectors. right now I have my custom css entered as this:

#sidebar column_inner sidebar ul li {
line-height: 8px;
}

But that doesn’t seem to be doing anything. Anyone have any clue? I’m about to pull my hair out. It’s got to be something small i’m missing.
