Sidebar disappears?

First of all, thanks for the great tool: it seems to be doing exactly what I was looking for + in a simple way (which is always best).
Except that!
On my main page, original language, everything looks as it should, sidebar included. Yet, when I click on “English” (= translated pages, as I am French), the sidebar disappears… how come? Can it be solved?
