When I add sidebar in neve “widgets” area, the sidebar is displayed in the bottom of the homepage.

A div which appears on homepage is:
    nv-sidebar-wrap col-sm-12 nv-right blog-sidebar

Is there any option which makes sidebar displaying on homepage or is it just error?

Now this data is not seen on homepage on the url that I have sent, as I had to remove it – but the problem is still actuall.
It is not the first time that I have this problem with Neve theme – so it is not rather a matter of plugin conflict or so, as I tried this on fresh WP instalation.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @tekstura1977,

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

The sidebar isn’t displayed if the page template is Full Width because this means that the rest of the content will be shown on the entire width of the page, so there won’t be any room for the sidebar. By default, the homepage template in Neve is set to full width, so the sidebar won’t be displayed until the template is changed to “default”. Please make sure the page template is set to “Default template” for the sidebar to be displayed. This can be done by:
? opening the editor by clicking on “Edit Page”
? opening the settings by clicking on the settings icon that appears in the right corner from top bar of the editor
    ? expanding “Template”
? choosing “Default template” from the dropdown, as you can see here

Also, click on the “Neve options” button that can be found next to the settings one and expand “Page Layout”. Then make sure the “Left” or “Right” option is selected under “Sidebar” and the “Container” is set to “Default”, as you can see here.

To make sure all the settings are properly configured, you should also check the options selected in Customizer -> Layout -> Content/Sidebar -> Others, as you can see here.

If these settings are correctly configured, the sidebar should be properly displayed.

    Have a nice day!

    ThankYou for help
However the clue of my post was that the data from sidebar were displayed in the bottom of my homepage despite of that I didn’t want it to displayed here it at all ?? ?? On the default settings of homepage – as “no-sidebar” this data apeerad on the bottom of site which has to be”fullwifth” (betweeen content and footer). But after reading Your advice I changed setting of my homepage from “default” to “creator of fullwidth (Neve)” and it helped: the homepage is fullwidth now and data from sidebar widget (main sidebar) is not dispayed on between content and footer anymore.
    Thank You once again ??

It seems I misunderstood your issue, but I’m glad to hear you managed to fix it in the meantime!

    Have a great day!
