Sidebar for homepage only

  • Hey there,
    Does anyone know of a way I can get a sidebar happening but only on my home page, so all other pages are single column (I have built the template as a single column.)

  • Open the index.php file and remove <?php get_sidebar(); ?> from the file. Save and you’re done.

    I currently don’t have a sidebar so i don’t have this code – i want to put in a sidebar but only on the home page. The home page is static so even if it’s just a way i can put widgets into a table cell.

    Sorry i didnt really explain myself well enough the first time!
