I have a website I built using WordPress with the Customizr theme (www.libertyfencingclub.com). It looked great. Everything seemed to be working just fine. Today, the sidebar appears on the left side of the footer on the home page. Furthermore, the text that should be in footer widget area three appears in footer widget area one, instead. The errors only happen on the home page, nowhere else on the web site. The only changes I made since the last time I looked at the web site were to update the theme and plugins. I did a google search for this problem. I found some posts that indicated there may be a problem with an unmatched div in the theme, or perhaps a float property was defined incorrectly. I looked at some of the code, and saw nothing wrong. Could you please help? Thank you for your time and attention.

  • Hello,
yes looks like an unclosed div.
Don’t think is in the theme, since you have that issue just there. More likely is in the content of your static page. For testing purpose change your static front page to another one.. does it still occur?

You were right. The content on the home page was messed up. It looks like one of the owners logged in and made some changes without telling me. There are no divs. But I found an <h1> in the wrong place and an unmatched </span>. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

mark this thread as RESOLVED then.. ??
