-
For me the problem was the color of my theme …
in Widget used “white color” for “text” and the bg color of widget was white… now i use black color fot text …
but perhaps it’s another problem for you
sorry for my english.
The sidebar is not concerned by this update. Works fine for me. Check your installation.
Sometimes, it is just necessary to disable / enable the plugin or the widget.I see these errors:

I’ve deactivate and reactivated both plugins.
Apart from upgrading to latest versions of both your plugins the only other recent change was to install an SSL certificate.
Prior to these changes the sidebar was working ok.I also notice that the plugin widget lines of code have changed, the working code had 3358, the latest has 3380. So obviously something has changed. I say this in case it helps you pinpoint recent changes you have made.
Thank you (merci) nigel
It seems you have changed profiles in Admin and your user have a deleted profile item.
Try with a new user.It has nothing to do with the sidebar.

You should set a default country in rencontre admin part.
i also see this:
2017-05-13 15:08:13 Error 62.6.132.77 500 GET /meet/?renc=c1&id=167 HTTP/1.1 https://fateline.co.uk/meet/?renc=account&id=167 Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 8.28 K Apache SSL access
followed by this:
017-05-13 15:08:14 Warning 62.6.132.77 (32)Broken pipe: mod_fcgid: ap_pass_brigade failed in handle_request_ipc function, referer: https://fateline.co.uk/meet/?renc=account&id=167 Apache errorHi, i’ve changed the default country back to UK, and also the page where rencontre is.
I’ve no idea why these changed ye
t again, it seemed to follow on from the last user registration which is bizare. Having done this i still do not see the sidebar. In the server error log now is 2017-05-13 15:41:41 Warning 62.6.132.77 (32)Broken pipe: mod_fcgid: ap_pass_brigade failed in handle_request_ipc function, referer: https://fateline.co.uk/meet/?renc=account&id=167 Apache errorI think i will back up the widgets page and restore the last one to see if that helps.
I’m also wondering if theme my login is partly to blame.I’ve replaced the widget code and the sidebar still does not show up, so this rules out any changes there, as you have been saying but at least i have now checked this doubt. The question remains why no sidebar.
Your warning “Broken pipe” has nothing to do with Rencontre.
Check in Admin / Rencontre / Custom if “No sidebar (I put it with widget)” is enable.
ok. however i’ve tried admin both with and without no sidebar. as i keep saying it was working and since the update it is now not. This is a major issue. I don’t mind paying you for your support effort. The site is due to go live on Monday so i need to resolve this urgently. I can give you all access as required.
Contact me here and give me an Admin and a FTP access.
“Seconde et dernière lettre” = Second and last letterFixed !
Issue was due to https. Noted for next update.
resolved
Hi jacques, well done. One small problem, the sidebar works in the footer but not in the rencontre page which is where i really want it. When i add the widget to the sidebar it does not display there.
Oh, i just realised that the custom features no sidebar was still checked – it’s working there now ??
I note your point regarding admin, funny enough it is on my list once i get the current problem sorted.
Merci Nigel
