Sidebar issues

  • I’m using the generic_plus theme and having issues with the sidebar.
    Currently, on the sidebar, I have categories and articles at the top of the sidebar in the westsidebar widget section. When I attempt to add a login widget to the westsidebar it covers the categories and articles and they disappear. The login seems to overlap or cover the categories/articles section. Same thing happens when I put something into the eastsidebar. Overlap what’s already there.

    I want to add widgets to the sidebar without covering them. How can I fix this so that the widgets don’t overlap other widgets in the sidebar? Hope I explained that correctly.

  • Hi,

    It seems that your theme having a dynamic sidebar so when you add new widget or modify the sidebar it will take manually installed widgets..

    in this case you need to again add all the widgets in order to display it in your sidebar..
