Sidebar issues bugging me

  • I am in the process of setting up my site (https://ares.webcity.com.au/~cle47729/) and was going along fine and tried to add a widget to the sidebar.. It didn’t work so I removed it and now the sidebar menu is all out of wack. Can anyone please have a look at it and let me know what I have done wrong and how I can get the Pages menu back to the top of the sidebar instead of how it is now half way down?

    Your page renders fine in Firefox. The issue is in IE. When I run your homepage through the page validator, there are some HTML tag mismatches which most likely are the cause of the IE problem. Look here:

    I suggest clicking the Show Source button in the Options section, and then revalidate. This will show the lines of source code at the bottom of the page. You can correlate the line numbers in the error message with the line numbers in source and try to figure out what is wrong.

    Cleaning those up will most likely resolve the problem.
