• I’ve seen many queries on this topic, but I can’t seem to find a resolution to this problem:

    Simply put: My links do not show in the sidebar. It seems as if everything is set correctly, but they simply do not show up. However, the <i>do</i> show when I use the plugin Sidebar Widgets, but I have found that another WordPress Plugin relating to “ordering pages” does not work if I use Widgets and that one’s more important to me.

    I’ve temporarily resolved the issue by making a separate “Page” with links, but I would like to have the links simply show.

    Anyone have any ideas. My site is https://asternglance.com.

    Thank you.

    Still wondering about this. I do have links showing, but they are “Pages,” as opposed to links from the option section. Thanks.

    What do you mean by saying you “made a separate page”? I’m not following, sorry.

    I do see in your source code is different from my page, which has a working sidebar, especially in the transition from the main portion (narrowcolumn) and the sidebar. For example, your code which introduces the sidebar is this:

    <div id="col1" class="sidebar">
    <ul>
    <li id="pages" class="widget widget_pages"><h2 class="widgettitle">Pages</h2>

    Mine is simpler:

    <div id="sidebar">

    Not sure why your theme is calling out so much code to transition. Also, I see that yours first calls out class=sidebar and then calls out class=widget widget_pages. Could these two be contradictory, or causing problems?

    I don’t like using Widgets, but had to in order to get the actual links to show up. As for “Pages,” I used the Titles as a link in order to get the Turnaround Management Association and CEO CFO Group links up. I really don’t want to change the theme, as it fits well with my business and frankly I can’t find one that quite that good. When I don’t use Widgets, no links show at all.

    I’m using WuCoco – Two Column 0.10.2 by Mike Lococo and the links to my pages on the sidebar are too small to see on inernet explorer using dial up.
