Sidebar menu that filters and redefines…??

    Hi everyone…

    I’ve searched the entire web and all the wordpress plugins but just cant seem to crack this one… and i would imagine it shouldnt be too difficult…

    I am trying to have my menu/category list that displays redefined categories as you click on a category… for instance You have main categorie such as “Type” which contains Cars, Boats, Motorbikes and when u click on Cars, then Motorbikes and Boats disappear and Cars is expanded to Sportscar, Sedan, SUV etc… and once clicked on SUV, the same happens and you are left with 2Wheel Drive and 4Wheel Drive… and these items stacked… You would also then have another main Catergory “Location” with subcategories that act the same way as the “Type” subcategories…

    End result being, as your clicking on your Main Categories,”Type” and “Location” and their subcategories… your page will be displaying only the most defined posts relevant to your selection… ultimately filtered to specifics…

    Best way to understand is probably by example… if you look at Gumtree… https://www.gumtree.co.za/f-Classifieds-W0QQ that is in essence how I would like my sidebar menu to work….. Is this doable with wordpress??

    Any help would be more than greatly appreciated!!! Thank you in advance….. ??
