Sidebar Mishap

I posted this in the Themes and Templates section, but I think its the wrong forum. Hopefully some over here can help me. I’ve seen a few posts similar to this one, but not one that could help me fix my particular problem.

I’ve been configuring my site in Mozilla, and it’s been looking and working fine. But when I recently checked it in IE the navigation appears half way down the page and I’m not exactly sure how to fix it. Is there anyone who could help me? Please and Thanks.

It also seems to be doing the same thing in Mozilla now. The text in the content area also gets bigger each post and I’m not sure why. Any help really would be greatly appreciated.

I simply copied and pasted what I already had, but as I said ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated. ??
