Sidebar Not Displaying

  • I’ve set up 3 widgets for the sidebar but they do not show up! The entire area on the left is totally blank. Unlike most themes, this does not give me the option of choosing a page with or without a side bar, so that’s another oddity.

  • If you are referring to the front page than yes, it is blank by design. You can add them with a child theme. Just create a front-page.php in the child theme and copy the code from the page.php into it. As soon as I did this anything in the default theme sidebar showed up on the front page.
