Sidebars not showing

Hello,

I have the sidebars left aligned, but they are not showing as you can see in this screenshot:

When I activated the plugin the files did not copy to my template the first time around. I had to make my theme dir 777, then I deactivated the plugin, reactivated the plugin and it copied the files. Are there some other files/dirs that may not have copied that could be causing this problem?
