Sidebar Not Showing

    Our Advanced Sidebar Menu is no longer showing. We just switched to the WP AStra theme and have this product page built with Elementor Pro Templates as a Product Archive.

    No, sorry, you are seeing a WordPress menu and not your Advanced Sidebar menu I do believe?

    Also, shouldn’t I have a Advanced Sidebar Menu in my WordPress Dashboard?

    Hi Westinyanz,

    Now the widget has been changed to an Elementor Nav Menu widget. You may change it back to the Advanced Sidebar Menu by replacing the Nav Menu widget with the Advanced Sidebar widget.

    I’m afraid I’m not familiar with how these types of archives are setup using Elementor, but I did find this article in their documentation.

    Sorry, but this did not work. I selected the “Product Sidebar” from the Sidebar Widget in elementor and it is still not wanting to populate.

    It was working in elementor prior to switching over to the WP Astra theme.

    My next concern is I am not seeing any section to edit this “Advanced Sidebar” plugin? Why am I not seeing it on my dashboard menu?

    Hi Westinyanz,

    Each theme handles widget areas in it’s own way. I’m not familiar with the WP Astra theme specifically, but my hunch is the widget areas in the new theme are named differently from the old theme which requires the widgets to be reassigned.

    You may add/edit Advanced Sidebar widgets using the standard WordPress widgets. Or by using the “WORDPRESS” section within Elementor.

    Looking at your site, I see the Advanced Sidebar Menu on your shop page again. It appears you may have figured this out.
