Sidebar not showing on shop and category pages

    Hi,

    I was able to see woo sidebar on shop and category pages but as soon as I renamed shop page sidebar disappeared. Everything is the same in Woo widget area.

    Can you explain to me what could happened and is there any solution to display sidebar again? Do you have a function or shortcode for displaying Woo sidebar?

    Hi @markoayd,

    Displaying or hiding the sidebar should be a feature that comes with the theme. Thus, you’d be best placed to reach out to the theme author for assistance with this.

    Shortcodes in WooCommerce do not allow to add a sidebar. These are used to insert content inside posts and pages. You can read more here: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/.

    Regarding PHP, if you are a developer, it’s something that can be certainly achieved. Since it’s a development topic it falls outside the scope of support on this forum. If you need help with your custom-coded solution, please consult with our WooCommerce Customizations Partners.

    The easiest solution is searching for a theme that has a built-in sidebar feature or using a free plugin like WooSidebars and you’ll find a walkthrough guide on this article.
