On the main page my sidebar has Categories, Archives, Links, Meta, etc. but if you go to an archived date or a category, the sidebar just has Categories. How do I populate it the same everywhere with a full sidebar?

The main theme isn’t yours but the child, where I am making changes, is yours or rather from here. It is Squirrel.

Weird but true. I have a section on the sidebar I can’t find in sidebar.php or Widgets. I need to remove it. It’s a Page I hand-coded. I can delete it but the link needs to go. But it’s hiding. I coded it a year ago but have no memory.

I don’t know what to do if I can’t find it. I know I can set up a redirect to index php but the physical link needs to go.

You’ve lost me…you’re using the Squirrel theme as a child theme? Try switching to a default theme like 2014 and look at appearance ? widgets. If you don’t see a place to drag widgets over to a sidebar, please post a screenshot.
The folks here can’t help you with your own customizations, only with default wp approved items.

I didn’t realize it was a customization. It was my first site after I came back (from a coma with no memory) and I thought he used a WordPress theme. The pages didn’t have a design credit but I looked further and found it. Sorry to have bugged you!
