• I have tried 4 other themes and really like Astrid. However, I think that I have just realized that it is not a simple matter to remove the sidebar — I only want the sidebar on my home page. Can someone advise me on this. If it is possible to remove it from all pages EXCEPT the home page, please advise how.

    Thank you.

  • Hello @chuckbalogh,

You can try to use WooSidebars plugin in order to display (or not) different widgets on different pages.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

    Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello Roman. I did use WooSidebars and it worked pretty well EXCEPT that once I removed the sidebars from the other pages, the text did not adjust to full width on those pages. I expected that it would. I assume that there is code that can be changed in the CSS to control this.

Oh and by the way, I am now considering not having sidebars on ANY page. How would this affect the answer?

    My site is 1ab.52b.myftpupload.com

    Thanks

    Hello @chuckbalogh,

Please describe what exactly you want to achieve.

    Kind Regards, Roman.

Sorry about that. As I look at my post, I understand your comment. I want the text to flow on 100% of the page for the entire site (all pages). The Astrid theme came with a sidebar which took up about 1/3 of the page. Now that I have removed the sidebar from all pages, I want the text to fill the page. I hope this is clearer.
    Thank you

    Hello @chuckbalogh,

You don’t use Astrid theme on the site that you mentioned above.

Please contact Karuna support if you still need help.

    Kind Regards, Roman.
