Sidebar options not appearing

If CMB2 is activated then it is loaded. That is what I am suggesting. That Marshall active CMB2. As a fallback if it’s not there Draw attention is loading version 2.0.8 which is embedded as a vendor inside there widget.
The Kadence Toolkit also loads CMB2 if it’s not installed individually but since Draw Attention has there version running before the toolkit loads and checks if CMB2 exists.

Ok, that’s the issue. You shouldn’t be checking if CMB2 exists before including init.php. CMB2 handles the magic for you. Please see the caveats here: https://github.com/CMB2/CMB2/wiki/Basic-Usage#caveats-for-bundling-and-including-cmb2

Thanks: I installed and activated CMB2 and the conflict affecting page editing options was resolved.

However – and this is just FYI; I am not asking for any more help, as you have done enough – there is still something going on with Draw Attention, perhaps some other conflict with Virtue, as the plugin is not working on this site as it does for me on other sites… But it is immaterial to me, as I can live without it. The main thing is that I can edit pages properly again!

Can you be specific about what isn’t working?

Sure, I can be specific – I just didn’t mean to drag you into another problem!

The issue with Draw Attention: on the site with Virtue, the “clickable areas” I define with Draw Attention (which are mapped on top of an underlying image) are not responsive – they do not re-size in synch with the images onto which they have been mapped. On smaller screens, the image shrinks but the areas mapped by Draw Attention retain their original size and location – the relationship between them is broken/lost.

This does not occur on another WP site of mine using a different theme (Cusomtizr) – on that site, the Draw Attention areas are responsive, too, and re-size in synch with the underlying image.

Hmm I just tried this and It resized for me without issue. Can you send me a link to this so I can see it?

If you right click, then click “inspect” and look in your “console” tab do you see any errors. My image above is from chrome.

FYI, I see the same in Chrome – no extensions, no errors in console. Also the same in Edge. Not always reproduced – easiest to reproduce if browser is large to begin with and then resized smaller and then hover over Alberta.

So if you resize it from a large to a small, then make another small sizing adjustment does it render for you?

And to be clear then this only happens to you if you resize the screen from large to small.

I’m not sure how this would be a theme thing but @marshall-beck can you post a link to where you have this with a different theme and it doesn’t do whats being described?

I don’t think I can reproduce the issue resizing the browser from small to large.
