• Hi everyone. I know this topic exists over and over on this forum. I have searched it and read through many posts. Most if not all of the posts are closed, so i can’t comment on them.

My issue is that I am new to WordPress. I am learning but I don’t know much about coding at all.

My site is eastbaywealthbuilders.com. I was adding an adsense widget to the sidebar and all of a sudden the sidebar begins to show below my posts on the front page.

If someone could be kind enough to walk me through the steps as to how I would resolve this, it would be greatly appreciated. I visited a site that showed me that I have multiple errors on the site. I just don’t know how or where to resolve them.

Thanks for your help and understanding.

    Try validating your page.

You may may have some closing tags missing

Particularly, pay attention to any missing div tag.

Thanks. How would I do that?

Sorry to tag on to someone else’s post/question but I also have been reading all the forum topics on side bar going to the bottom. I have Coraline theme with only the allowed customizations, no code rewriting. https://www.becvote.org

My issues with many of the suggestions for fixing: I ran through a validator and found that it shows errors, BUT I do not know where or how to fix them. I can see the source and where they are showing me errors, but to get into the source and make a fix: HOW???

I do not know where to change the pixels allowed for the main text portion of a page between the two outside sidebars, if that might help.

Every page (I use pages, not posts) shows the right sidebar down low. In the Text tab when in page edit, sometimes I see no code at all, simply text. Is that what is meant by pasting in from Word? I may have done that, but most of my pages were built by HTML import plug in.

I did not make any changes that I recall to prompt the appearance change.
