    I’ve used this plugin in combination with the Genesis Simple Sidebar for a long time now with great joy. But something has changed -> I can’t select a sidebar anymore when creating a new portfolio item in the admin area. The ‘admin box’ controlling this feature has disappeared …

    Can someone please help me with fixing this issue? I really need custom sidebars per portfolio item. Thanks!

    P.s. The old items still use the custom sidebar (created with genesis simple sidebars). For an example, please visit this part of my music portfolio -> https://music.idlaunch.org/portfolio-type/suspense-dark/

    Never mind, found the solution ??
    Just had to add ‘genesis-simple-sidebars’ to the post-types-and-taxonomies.php file.

    More detail to add this feature:
    1. open file ‘post-types-and-taxonomies.php’ in the lib folder
    2. search for ‘supports’ => array(
    3. add the to array ‘genesis-simple-sidebars’
    4. save and replace
    5. sidebars can be selected when creating a new portfolio item
