• I am having the issue where the contents in my sidebar are showing at the top of the sidebar column in Firefox, but only showing next to where the comments are aligned in IE. This is due to the fact that I have extended the size of my header.

You assistance in what I can do to get the sidebar to show at the top of the column in IE is appreciated.

My blog is located at https://www.hqcoffee.com/more-coffee

    Thanks!
    Dana.

  • It’s more likely caused by something too wide in your content area (e.g. that black banner) or something too wide in the sidebar. For IE you cannot have anything wider than the “container” div.

Thanks for your response, but having a challenge figuring out your suggested solution.

I have another blog that has the same size banner in the content area, but it is not showing any problems with the sidebar content in IE (see https://www.no-cost-gifts.com).

The only difference between the 2 blogs is the content I have added in my header template, but the size of that content is not wider than the “container” div as far as I can tell.

    Any other thoughts?
