Sidebar tabs/tabbed widegts

I have tried sidebar tabs, accordian, tabbed widgets, and section widget.

But cant get any to work with my theme ‘maamo’ The closest was accordian but the plugin is old and a little broken under 2.9

Is there a simple tabbed widget plugin that will enable me to display popular posts and comments in tabs that is easy to set up and use, or an alternative taht I could code into a text widget?
