    Hello, can anyone please assist in restoring the following icon named \e041?

    .woocommerce-product-search:before {
        position: absolute;
        top: 16px;
        right: 17px;
        font-size: 15px;
        -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;
        color: #9e9c9c;
        line-height: 1;
        content: "\e041";
        font-family: "dripicons-v2" !important;
    }

    It’s the very first widget on the sidebar. I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to look like that ?? ….A very tiny box that says EO41. Am I perhaps missing a font file I can restore in the directory? Use @fontface in custom css? Not sure how to fix. Woocommerce is up to date.

    Thank you!

    Hello @webworks,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    It seems like you’re having an issue with a missing icon on your WooCommerce site.

    However, in order to have a better visual understanding, could you locate a different site that has the icon and share it with us? Here’s how to make a screenshot: https://wordpress.com/support/make-a-screenshot/

    You can use a screenshot sharing software like https://snipboard.io/ and paste the link here.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    I guess it’s easiest to install it on my old site. You can see the search product widget bottom-right…. here https://webworkshost.com/test-2/

    I suppose it’s the magnify icon? Product search widget is a woo widget, right?

    Hey, @webworks!

    I’m a bit lost, do you mind clarifying your goal for us?

    I checked the link you shared and I can see the search widget there. Is this what you need help fixing?
    If it is, can you share more details about what is wrong with it?

    In your first message you mentioned “A very tiny box that says EO41”, do you mind clarifying what this is? As my colleague mentioned, sharing a screenshot can really help ??

    The code you shared, was it for the tiny box?

    Once we have a better understanding of the issue, we should be able to assist you further.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Yes I did make a screenshot – I guess I forgot to paste the link:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/11EGpqy7007Tz9APlEu8ponCoC183JTR9/view?usp=drive_link

    So this is the “search product” widget. It’s placed there by woocommerce, correct? Why doesn’t the icon show up here: https://5pointsfarmjax.com/shop/ Like it does here on my test page here? https://webworkshost.com/test-2/

    Using console, I found the css for it, in my first post. Is there an icon file or folder I’m missing in the installation maybe?

    There doesn’t need to be an icon there at all … if I could just remove it, that would work – but I’m unsure of what css it would be (?)

    Hey, @webworks!

    Thanks for the screenshots! I understand the issue now ??

    The issue with the icon not showing might be related to the theme.

    Can you please temporarily switch to a default theme such as Storefront to check if the issue persists?

    If you wish to remove the icon you can do that by editing the widget.

    • Go to Appearance > Widgets
    • If your theme has more than one Widget area, look for the one where the search widget is
    • Click on it, a toolbar will show
    • There will be an option to change the button position, where you will be able to remove the button
    • There will also be an option to use the button with an icon or not, which you might want to try to see if you like it
    • Don’t forget to save the changes when you are done

    Here’s a screenshot:

    I hope this was clarifying. If you face any issues or have any questions, please let us know so we can assist you further.

    Have a wonderful day!
