sidebar widget links jumping

hey guys.

i am running wp 2.5.1 with the dark cash theme by jeff malek. in my sidebar i only use simple widget boxes linking to my pages with regular href links:

[a href=”https://www.mydomain.com/wp/about/”%5DAbout%5B/a%5D

etc.

now i added a new link to a page in the sidebar and re-ordered my list a little. as the link wasn’t quite there where i wanted it to be, i changed it to a different position in the list and then again to it’s final position. but now that one link (that got re-ordered twice) keeps “jumping” from the old position to the second and to the final, depending on what page i am on. how can that be? i emptied my cache and whatnot, still no change. i am pretty confused. editing the widgets should change them everywhere on the page, no?
