Sidebar widget not showing categories and shortcode still showing date

  • Hello,
    I have two problems.
    1 If I use the widget in sidebar it does not show all the categories on the site, only the four that fit in the window. No scrollbar. The other fields have scrollbar.
    When I use the shortcode I enter date=”false”, but it still shows the date.
    How can I solve these two issues?

  • 2nd problem: use date=0 (zero) this also works with thumb=0

    @fixdeman Do you have the answer for how to use custom taxonomies for custom posts? This is what I have been trying without luck
    1.
    post_type=”portfolios” taxonomy=”photography”
    2.
    post_type=”portfolios” taxonomy=”portfolio_category_photography”

    The custom taxonomy is portfolio_category, and I have made a different categories in this taxonomy, but can not figure out how to select them through shortcodes.

    i’ve tried the taxonomy shortcode and it didn’t work for me too.
    i don’t have the solution. could it be it can be replaced by some taxonomy ID, or something? I saw it solved some other tickets.
