Sidebar Widget Problem with 2.3

  • I installed 2.3 and all is fine except for plug in Sidebar Widgets. When I try to activate I get the following error:

    “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare register_sidebars() in /home/spiring/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/widgets/widgets.php on line 22”

    I am using K2 Beta as my theme and my widgets are in the middle column.

    This means my widgets are not shown on new posts, however the already published posts still show the widgets though.

    I hope someone can help.
