Sidebar widgets are moved to bottom
-
Before I added a child theme (which added a footer) to my Twenty Twelve theme (https://alwaysaredhead.com), the sidebar widgets were/are not showing up on mobile instead they are moved to the bottom. If I choose full version to be displayed, again with/without the child theme the sidebar widgets are still at the bottom.
Jetpack said to verify the following: If your widgets are missing on the Mobile Theme, the likely culprit is that your desktop theme does not have a sidebar with a sidebar id of “sidebar-1″ (the id must be exactly “sidebar-1″). To verify this, open your theme files and locate the register_sidebar() function (usually in functions.php). Which I did and all is fine.
When I disabled Jetpack, the widgets are still appearing at the bottom, again, it does not matter whether or not I have the child theme activated.
I would like the sidebar widgets to appear at the side. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
