Sidebar widgets doesn't show

Hello there! My name is Jacob and I am trying to make my own theme.
I followed a tutorial (from themeshaper.com), mostly copying and pasting a lot of the files.

Then I downloaded a reset.css, rebuild.ccs and a wp.css style.
After that I donwloaded a basic two colums, sidebar on the right theme.

But I have a couple of problems. If any one would take time to help me with this I would be appreciate it a lot.

1. When I drag-and-drop widgets they don’t appear on the sidebar. When I check back to add another widget – the first widget I added simply jumped back to the “Available Widgets” area.

2. It’s not possible to add comments. It’s not a huge loss, but if there is a way to fix this, that would be great!

3. I would like to remove the “Nothing here…” text. Or am I unaware of its uses?
