Sidebar widgets not working

wp_deregister_script() is part of wp-includes/script-loader.php. Sounds like you did not completely upgrade your version of WordPress to 2.1.x.

I am also having a problem with my sidebar widget. If you look here at my site Illusive Life you will see where it states

” Please enable widgets or modify leftbar.php to add content to this sidebar.”

I’m quite baffled because my widget is activated, heck I even deactivated it and then reactivated it just in case…

I’m also baffled because there is css code for a #rightbar in the style-core.css file but there isn’t a rightbar.

If no one knows how to help me with this is there anyone that would maybe have a blank template like this that I could slap my own design in?

SusanM: I don’t see that problem on your blog. Did you fix it?

Most likely fix: After activating the widgets plugin, go to the widgets page and put some widgets in that sidebar.

I apologize that I did not see this – I kept checking back for a response but I gave up too soon.

No, I didn’t get the issue resolved with the template I was working on. Oddest thing, because my sidebar widgets were activated…I even unactivated them and reactivated them just to make sure there wasn’t a glitch.

I could place the code here if you would like, perhaps you could see something that I can’t. Let me know.

I am new in WP. I downloaded and installed “Sidebar Widgets” follow the read me info, but I can not see a “Sidebar Widgets” item in the Presentation menu. I am keeping get a Broken Themes message “The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.”
