    Hello,

I’d like to have the content of the sidebar in separated in boxes, like this one:

Is it possible? Can please point me to some detailed documentation?

    Thanks

  • Hello,

Go to customize > general option > general settings and select separate layout style.

Thanks for the quick reply. It doesn’t work though. In the link I posted there is a sidebar with 3 boxes: 1 for ‘Search’, 1 for ‘Address’ and 1 for ‘Contacts’. These are the boxes I mean.

Did you use the separate layout style as I mentioned above? For box-shadow and the other box styling, you need to add some CSS code.

Yes you’re right. It works. Thanks!
I can’t find a selector for the content of the boxes. I found the title:
    .sidebar-box .widget-title
    but not the content.

My goal is to have the bottom border of the title touch both sides of the sidebar. If I delete the ‘Widgets Padding’ in general option > general settings, then the widgets are too close to each other. Therefore my need to change the padding of the content.

    Hi Mattia,

You can try taking advantage of tools such as Inspect or Firebug which can aid in customizing. These are useful 3rd party tutorials on how to go about using Inspect.

Thanks! I’m already using them, they are really helpful! I’ll watch these tutorials later.
I mark this thread as resolved since the main issue is fixed.

    Thanks for your help!
