Sidebare moving to lower part of website

This happened to me before on this theme and it turned out that I was missing a </div> tag.

thanks for the quick reply, it makes sense what you said – but Ive looked through both index.php and sidebar.php… both look OK

any other ideas?

It might help to put clear: right or left; in your css for the sidebar.

that is also a very relevant point! I checked and made sure all was set to “right”..which makes the sidebar slide to the right side, but it is still stuck below the “main/content/post” area.

can anyone see if it is “below” the content area, or just simply “lowered” in its own “zone”..that is…the content of the sidebar is vertically ‘too’ low…?

take a look at the xhtml and css results after trying to validate your site…fix those first and see what you come up with:

What when you put

‘#sidebar {
width: 180px;
font-size:0.9em;
float: left;
clear:right;}’

instead of

‘#sidebar {
float: right;
width: 180px;
font-size:0.9em;
}’ ?
