Sidebars alignment

  • I’m using WP 2.7 with the Bluebird theme. Strange problem with the alignment of the two sidebars. All pages validate both XHTML & CSS and they display well in both Firefox and IE…when I’m not logged in. However, when I am logged in as a member, on the individual post pages (single.php), both sidebars are forced to the bottom. Help if you can! Since you cannot login, I don’t know how you will see the problem. Maybe it’s something I’ve missed in the code. https://www.truebluefriends.org/wordpress Thank you.

    Please try to fix the width for the sidebar from the style.css of the theme. It should be fix the issue.

    Thanks, Shane G. I have tried many changes to sidebars’ width and padding to no effect. When I put an extra, invalid, </div> to close the content in the single.php, the sidebars align correctly on the individual post pages.

    I thought the problem was the login form on the left sidebar since this problem occurs only when I am signed in. But I removed the login form and tested again — no change.

    Could something be happening with the comment form?

    It might be an issue with the connectivity of all the WordPress php pages. Something about the hierarchy and in what order the php pages are called.

    Well, I am stumped! Thanks again for your help.
